At the 2026 Future Mobility Pioneer Conference, Lu Chuanhua, Vice President of Product Strategy and Ecosystem Collaboration at Yanfeng International, stated that intelligent cockpits are shifting from function-driven to scenario-driven development. He emphasized that user scenarios determine consumer needs, which in turn guide the direction of feature development and innovation. Lu noted that Yanfeng expects sales revenue of approximately RMB 150 billion in 2025, with a global footprint spanning over 230 locations and nearly 60,000 employees. The company positions itself as a “Tier 0.5 supplier” of intelligent vehicle upper-body system solutions, highlighting its system-level integration capabilities. Since 2018, Yanfeng has integrated five major technology domains to launch its comprehensive “One Roof” solution. Regarding the future of intelligent cockpits, Yanfeng has proposed the concept of “Four Freedoms”: spatial freedom, interaction freedom, comfort freedom, and health & safety freedom. Safety is regarded as the core element, and the company has introduced the world’s first zero-gravity seat safety protection mechanism, which provides crash protection in any reclined position and has been certified by China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC) and international testing agencies. On innovation models, Lu stressed the importance of open collaboration, explaining that Yanfeng leverages its “EPG” industrial innovation platform to co-develop technologies with partners across the supply chain. Its collaboration with Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility has already led to technological debuts on multiple vehicle models, including the Zeekr S800 and Aito D9, both featuring Yanfeng’s Angel Seat and Zero-Gravity Embrace systems. In terms of internationalization, Yanfeng’s more than 200 overseas sites are now equipped to support Chinese OEMs’ global expansion, and the company is committed to elevating Chinese innovations to global standards.
