Mercedes-AMG has announced European pricing for its new all-electric four-door GT coupe, with the GT55 starting at €154,700 and the GT63 at €208,130. Prices for all variants have risen significantly compared to the current internal combustion engine (ICE) models, which start in the U.S. market at $103,250 for the GT43, $114,350 for the GT53, and $159,600 for the GT63. Built on a dedicated electric architecture, the new model delivers substantially enhanced performance: the GT55 produces a maximum output of 805 horsepower—matching the current GT63 S E Performance—while the GT63 exceeds 1,100 horsepower and features a system that simulates the sound and driving feedback of an AMG V8 engine. Additionally, Mercedes-AMG claims the vehicle will challenge and set new world records in 25 endurance-driving categories, utilizing the same electric drive technology as the AMG GT Concept. Final pricing will increase further depending on optional equipment and packages; for reference, a fully loaded current GT63 S E Performance can exceed $220,000.
