On May 30, Xiaomi completed the first batch of deliveries of its YU7 GT new energy vehicle in Shenzhen. At the delivery event, multiple owners gave positive feedback on the car’s range, performance, and safety. A commercial airline captain stated that the vehicle meets his core requirements for a new energy vehicle in terms of range, performance, and safety. Another owner referenced a video of a YU7 accident, highlighting his confidence in the car’s body strength and safety performance. The YU7 GT is equipped with the Jiaolong Chassis Master Edition, featuring dual-valve CDC adaptive dampers, a closed-loop dual-chamber air suspension system (with a 75mm adjustment range), and an eLSD electronic limited-slip differential derived from racing technology. Its braking system shares the same foundation as the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, utilizing Akebono six-piston front calipers and the segment’s largest carbon-ceramic brake discs, achieving a 100–0 km/h braking distance of just 32.9 meters. The YU7 GT starts at RMB 389,900. Customers who place an order before 24:00 on June 30, 2026, are eligible for purchase incentives worth up to RMB 85,000.
