Tesla has withdrawn its previous notice to terminate the graphite supply agreement with Australia's Syrah Resources. Syrah Resources confirmed on Monday that the impasse has now been resolved following months of negotiations and four extensions of the deadline for reaching a solution. Under the contract signed in 2021, Syrah plans to supply Tesla with 8,000 metric tons of graphite anode material over the next four years from its Vidalia, Louisiana facility in the United States.
