On June 1, Zeekr released its May delivery figures, reporting 34,377 vehicles delivered in the month—a year-over-year increase of 81.8%. This marks the fourth consecutive month of both year-over-year and month-over-month growth, setting a new record for the brand’s highest monthly deliveries. As of the end of May, Zeekr’s cumulative global deliveries have approached 800,000 units. Flagship models—the Zeekr 009, 9X, and 8X—accounted for nearly 50% of total sales, driving the brand’s average transaction price per vehicle up by 52.4% year-over-year. In the Chinese market, Zeekr’s average transaction price now exceeds that of traditional luxury brands such as BMW and Audi. The Zeekr 9X has ranked as the best-selling large SUV priced above RMB 500,000 for six consecutive months, with an average transaction price of approximately RMB 530,000. Over 70% of its sales come from the top-trim variant. The Zeekr 8X, launched in April, has shown strong momentum—securing over 10,000 firm orders within just 29 minutes of its debut, with high-spec trims accounting for more than 95% of orders. All variants of the 8X are equipped with a 2.0T plug-in hybrid powertrain and standard all-wheel drive, achieving a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 3.7 seconds. The top-trim version features a tri-motor megawatt electric drive system delivering a peak output of 1,030 kW (approximately 1,400 horsepower) and a 0–100 km/h sprint time of just 2.96 seconds. The vehicle is offered with two battery options—55 kWh and 70 kWh—delivering a maximum CLTC pure-electric range of 410 kilometers and supporting 900V 6C ultra-fast charging, which can replenish the battery from 20% to 80% in only 9 minutes under normal temperatures.
