The all-new Mercedes-Benz all-electric GLC will open for pre-orders on June 5 and officially launch in July. Built on Mercedes-Benz’s dedicated MB.EA electric vehicle platform, the vehicle measures 4,933 mm in length, 1,914 mm in width, and 1,710 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,027 mm. Its front fascia features a retro-inspired shield-shaped grille embedded with nearly 1,000 individual lighting units. The front trunk offers 128 liters of storage space, and the car is available in six exterior colors. Inside, the cabin is equipped with a massive 39.1-inch MBUX screen and a head-up display (HUD). It also features a Burmester 4D surround sound system, 64-color ambient lighting, and seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions. In terms of intelligent driving technologies, the new GLC is powered by the Momenta intelligent driver-assistance system, supporting highway navigation pilot assist, urban navigation pilot assist, and parking assist. It enables ETC toll passage, traffic light recognition and stop/go without navigation input, automatic lane changes without navigation, full-scenario parking, and path-tracing reverse maneuvers. The powertrain adopts an 800V electrical architecture and features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering a combined output of 310 kW and peak torque of 800 N·m. The battery pack has a capacity of 85.5 kWh, offering two CLTC-rated range variants—680 km and 703 km. Charging from 10% to 80% takes as little as 22 minutes. The chassis is equipped with the S-Class-derived AIRMATIC air suspension system, which automatically adjusts damping and ride height based on road conditions. It also incorporates rear-axle steering technology with a maximum steering angle of 4.5 degrees.
