Latest spy shots of Xiaomi's upcoming third production vehicle, codenamed "Kunlun" and officially named the Xiaomi Xuntian SUV, reveal its imminent launch. The model will be offered in both five-seat and seven-seat variants: the five-seater features a more compact body, while the seven-seater is larger and equipped with a height-adjustable roof to expand interior resting space. Both versions adopt semi-recessed door handles. Some test vehicles have been spotted fitted with 245/55R19 Chaoyang tires, and feature Xiaomi logos on the front grille and “Xiaomi Xuntian N90” badging at the rear. Powering the new SUV is a range-extended electric system, expected to use a 1.5T range extender. It promises over 400 km of pure electric range and a total combined driving range exceeding 1,500 km. Battery supply will be jointly handled by Sunwoda and CALB (China Aviation Lithium Battery). In 2024, Sunwoda will serve as the primary supplier, accounting for 60% of battery provision, while CALB will supply the remaining 40%. Higher-trim models will offer optional electric running boards and come equipped with a spacious cabin and a split tailgate design featuring both upper and lower opening sections. The vehicle is expected to launch in the second half of this year, with a price range of RMB 200,000 to RMB 450,000.
