Leapmotor unveiled its all-new C16 model on June 16, alongside announcing update plans for the C10 and C11 models. The C16 is available in both five-seat and six-seat configurations and is positioned as a midsize SUV, with dimensions of 4,915 mm (length) × 1,905 mm (width) × 1,770 mm (height) and a wheelbase of 2,825 mm. The vehicle debuts a new "Yunqi Gold" exterior paint color and features layered ambient headlamps, 21-inch ten-spoke precision-machined alloy wheels, and a distinctive blue auxiliary driving indicator light. Inside, the cabin adopts a "Sandstone Brown" color scheme and includes an integrated wraparound cockpit design, handcrafted soft-touch surfaces, waterfall-style ambient lighting, a floating instrument panel, hidden electric air vents, and speaker grilles with a "Stellar Ring Rhythm" pattern. The C16 is offered in both battery-electric and range-extended variants. The BEV version is built on a full-domain 800V architecture and features a rear-mounted single motor, delivering a CLTC-rated range of 630 km. The range-extended version is powered by a 1.5L range extender and offers a CLTC pure-electric range of 280 km. Leapmotor states that the new model incorporates over 70 upgrades, with prices ranging from RMB 151,800 to RMB 181,800. The vehicle will officially launch on June 18, 2025.
