Since its launch on April 8, 2024, the Dongfeng Nissan NX8 has accumulated over 11,000 confirmed orders as of June 5. Positioned as a midsize new-energy SUV, the NX8 starts at RMB 149,900 and is available in both all-electric and extended-range variants. The NX8 measures 4,870 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,680 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,917 mm, positioning it as a spacious five-seater SUV. The all-electric version features a 95-liter front trunk and a dual-layer rear cargo area with a generous capacity of 773 liters. Interior highlights include the "Zero-Pressure Cloud Carpet" 2.0 seats, rear seatbacks adjustable up to 133°, 40-point SPA-grade massage functionality, a 25-speaker Dolby Atmos surround sound system, and a climate-controlled refrigerator capable of maintaining temperatures from -6°C to 55°C. For intelligent driving, all trims are equipped with an advanced driver-assistance system supplied by Momenta. The Max trim adds a LiDAR sensor, enabling highway navigation pilot (NOA), urban navigation pilot (NOA), and full-scenario intelligent parking capabilities. The extended-range variant is powered by a 1.5T engine producing 109 kW, paired with a drive motor delivering a peak output of 195 kW. It comes with either a 37.4 kWh or 43.2 kWh CATL battery pack, offering CLTC all-electric ranges of 150 km and 310 km, respectively. The all-electric version offers two motor options—215 kW or 250 kW—and is equipped with either a 73 kWh or 81 kWh CATL LFP battery, delivering CLTC ranges of 580 km and 650 km, respectively. Built on an 800V high-voltage platform, the vehicle can fast-charge from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes.
