The Beijing Off-road BJ30 Highlight Edition is scheduled to launch on June 12, coinciding with the rollout of the 150,000th BJ30 model from the production line. The Highlight Edition features upgrades in styling, scenario-based customization options, and equipment specifications. The current BJ30 Traveler is available in both gasoline and hybrid powertrain variants. It measures 4,730 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,790 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. The interior is equipped with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. The gasoline version is powered by a 1.5T engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (7DCT). The hybrid variant combines the same 1.5T engine with an electric motor, delivering a maximum engine output of 116 kW and peak torque of 235 N·m. The hybrid system achieves a combined maximum output of 301 kW and combined peak torque of 685 N·m, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 6.59 seconds and a combined fuel consumption of 6.45 L/100 km. The BJ30 Traveler was first introduced in September 2023, with an official manufacturer’s suggested retail price ranging from RMB 99,900 to RMB 136,900.
