On June 6, Xiaomi launched an in-stock sales service for its YU7 electric SUV, enabling customers to take delivery of their vehicles in as little as two hours. The YU7 is a mid-to-large-sized all-electric SUV priced between RMB 233,500 and RMB 389,900, offered in four variants: rear-wheel-drive Standard, Pro, Max, and all-wheel-drive GT. The vehicle measures 4,999 mm in length, 1,996 mm in width, and 1,608 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. All trims come standard with an 800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform, supporting a 10%–80% fast charge in just 21 minutes, and are equipped with onboard LiDAR and advanced intelligent driving chips. Customers who place orders for in-stock Long Range, Pro, or Max variants before 24:00 on June 30 can choose either a 3-year 0% interest / 5-year low-interest financing plan or a RMB 6,000 insurance subsidy. According to Xiaomi’s Q1 2026 earnings report, the company delivered 80,856 vehicles during the quarter, an increase of 6.6% year-over-year. Revenue from its smart EV business reached RMB 19 billion, with an average selling price per vehicle of approximately RMB 235,000. Although deliveries declined following the discontinuation of the first-generation SU7 series, strong demand for the YU7 series supported overall year-over-year growth in sales volume. The next-generation SU7, launched in March, had secured over 80,000 pre-orders by May 6 during its initial sales period, while cumulative YU7 deliveries reached 232,000 units within 10 months of its market launch.
