As of June 7, Tesla’s Supervised Full Self-Driving (FSD) feature has been activated on 1.3 million vehicles worldwide. The company is accelerating the rollout of this feature across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. In the Americas, FSD is already widely available in North America, while Chile and Colombia are in the approval process. In Europe, the Netherlands, Lithuania, and Estonia have granted approval, and approvals for Belgium and Sweden are progressing rapidly. In the Middle East, the UAE has begun on-road testing, while Israel and Qatar are undergoing regulatory review. In Asia, China has completed FSD approval, while Japan and Malaysia are still pending authorization. Ethiopia in Africa is also advancing its local approval procedures. Tesla has established a functional validation team to align with regional regulatory requirements and facilitate the compliant global deployment of FSD.
