On June 8, the General Manager of BYD Dynasty Network Sales Division unveiled the official camouflaged image of Dynasty’s first D-segment flagship sedan, tentatively named “Da Han.” Previously, on June 4, he revealed via social media that after multiple rounds of screening, six names had advanced to the final shortlist: “Da Han,” “Han 9,” “Han Ultra,” “Han·Tianxia,” “Xiao Han,” and “Han·Chitu.” At the time of the announcement, “Da Han” held a clear lead in online voting. Specific specifications and configurations of the sedan have not yet been disclosed. For reference, another D-segment flagship model from BYD Dynasty Network—the D-segment flagship SUV “Da Tang”—is set to launch in Xi’an in mid-June. The SUV features BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and a full-domain 1000V high-voltage architecture, offering both single-motor and dual-motor all-wheel-drive variants, with a pre-sale price range of RMB 250,000 to 320,000. Its interior includes a floating central touchscreen, a front passenger entertainment screen, and a 17.3-inch ceiling-mounted screen for second-row passengers. The vehicle adopts a 2+2+3 seven-seat layout, with dual zero-gravity seats in the front row and independent third-row seats equipped with armrests, complemented by a hollow-core laminated roof panel. It also integrates a 3nm cabin chip, a Devialet 27-speaker 7.1.4-channel audio system, and a “Sky Mirror” hollow-core laminated panoramic sunroof.
