On June 8, NVIDIA and LG Group announced a collaboration to build AI factories, providing accelerated computing infrastructure for LG’s core businesses, including robotics, autonomous driving, data centers, and GPU cloud services. In the robotics domain, LG Electronics will integrate NVIDIA frameworks such as Isaac Sim and GR00T to train its home robot CLoiD and establish a physical AI data factory to offer robot training data externally. Meanwhile, LG CNS will incorporate NVIDIA robotics technologies into its PhysicalWorks industrial platform. Regarding AI factory infrastructure, LG Uplus and LG CNS will build scalable AI factories based on NVIDIA’s DSX platform, while LG Energy Solution will explore data center energy storage solutions leveraging 800-volt DC technology. In autonomous driving, LG Electronics will align with NVIDIA’s DRIVE Hyperion architecture to advance its development of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and software-defined vehicle product lines. In autonomous AI, LG AI Research continues developing its EXAONE large language model using NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs and is promoting internal adoption across the group through ChatEXAONE. On the same day, NVIDIA also announced an expanded partnership with Doosan Group, spanning four business units: Doosan Robotics, Bobcat (Doosan Bobcat), Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction, and Doosan Electronic Materials. Specifically, Doosan Robotics will integrate NVIDIA technologies—including Isaac Sim, Cosmos, and Jetson Thor—to upgrade its “Agent Robot Operating System,” aiming to transform from a robotic arm supplier into a full-stack AI robotics solutions provider and explore new robot form factors such as dual-arm and humanoid robots.
