Buick Envision Hits 2 Million Units, Debuts New Colors and Incentives

The 2,000,000th Buick Envision family vehicle rolled off the production line at SAIC-GM’s Dongyue “Platinum Plant.” Simultaneously, Buick unveiled a new exterior color for the Envision Plus called “Yuan Shan Dai” (Distant Mountain Black). This paint finish incorporates thermochromic pigments in the clear coat, nano-flake particles, and ultra-sparkling red-blue pearl effect materials, applied through an eight-layer painting process. For a limited time, buyers can enjoy promotional offers including a deposit credit of RMB 1,000 that expands to RMB 7,000, a “1-Yuan Loan” financing plan with daily payments as low as RMB 1.4, and a trade-in subsidy of up to RMB 10,000. The 2026 Buick Envision Plus went on sale in September 2025, with a starting manufacturer-suggested retail price (MSRP) of RMB 229,900 and a fixed “one-price” offer starting from RMB 169,900. The vehicle features a 30-inch integrated curved 6K display powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, introduces a new “Cosmic Purple” interior color scheme, and comes standard with front ventilated seats (suction-type), built-in dashcam functionality, and one-touch auto up/down windows for both front and rear doors. Measuring 4,822 mm long, 1,883 mm wide, and 1,705 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,833 mm, the Envision Plus continues to be powered by a 2.0T engine delivering a maximum output of 174 kW (237 hp) and peak torque of 350 N·m, mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The front-wheel-drive variant accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.0 seconds, while the all-wheel-drive version does so in 8.1 seconds; both versions have a top speed of 210 km/h.
