Saidou Tech has officially unveiled its new automotive brand, AIVA. The brand launch event is scheduled for June 9 at 19:00, accompanied by the release of a rear-end teaser image of its first model. This crossover vehicle targets the RMB 100,000–200,000 household market for both battery-electric and extended-range electric vehicles and will be manufactured at Seres’ Phoenix Factory. AIVA emphasizes “AI-defined vehicles,” focusing on intelligent experiences that can sense, think, and empathize. All variants of the debut model will come standard with Doubao, a large AI model powered by Volcano Engine, enabling multimodal interaction, emotion recognition, contextual recommendations, and seamless integration across ecosystems such as Douyin and Feishu. The advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) will be developed in collaboration with DeepRoute.ai, not Huawei’s Qiankun solution. Saidou Tech was formerly known as Landian Technology, a subsidiary of Seres, which recently underwent a name change. According to its equity structure, Chongqing Shaci Zhiyuan is the largest shareholder with a 34.5% stake; Seres holds 32.96%, making it the second-largest shareholder; and CATL owns 9.89%. The company has explicitly stated that Saidou Tech has no equity relationship with ByteDance and is not a ByteDance-owned brand. ByteDance previously clarified that it has no plans to enter vehicle manufacturing or launch an automotive brand, and its cooperation with the automotive industry is limited to providing technical services such as the Doubao large model and smart cockpit solutions. The official promotional video showcases multiple AI features of the AIVA vehicle, including human-car dialogue, QR code payments, video recording, camping power supply, and the ability to understand user needs. The teaser image reveals a large rear spoiler, sporty styling, the AIVA logo, and a blue illuminated贯穿 light bar for ADAS functions.
