The design sketches of the Avatr 07L were recently unveiled. The model has been included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) 407th batch of new vehicle announcements and is scheduled to launch in the third quarter of this year. Co-designed by Avatr and Huawei Qiankun, the vehicle is positioned as a mid-to-large premium family SUV, measuring 4,910 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and either 1,650 mm or 1,670 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,990 mm—50 mm longer and 85 mm extended in overall length compared to the current Avatr 07. Exterior-wise, it retains the brand’s signature front fascia design and features semi-recessed door handles, roof rails, and a HarmonyOS Smart Mobility badge on the B-pillar. The rear incorporates a full-width light bar and may include an intelligent driving indicator light. In terms of cargo capacity, the combined front and rear trunks can accommodate up to 12 pieces of 20- to 24-inch luggage. On the intelligent technology front, the roof is equipped with Huawei’s 896-line LiDAR and will be among the first vehicles to feature Huawei Qiankun ADS 5.0. Powertrain options include both all-electric and range-extended variants. The range-extended version pairs a 1.5T range extender with a 231 kW electric motor and offers either a 39.05 kWh or 52.01 kWh battery pack, delivering WLTC-rated pure-electric ranges of 197 km and 270 km, respectively. The all-electric variant is built on an 800V architecture across the entire vehicle platform, with the rear-wheel-drive model featuring a 305 kW motor. Additionally, filings reveal a tri-motor configuration: the all-electric tri-motor setup delivers combined outputs of 210 kW + 251 kW + 251 kW, while the range-extended tri-motor version produces 131 kW + 200 kW + 200 kW, achieving a total output approaching 1,000 horsepower.
