Bank of China hosted the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Industry GBIC Conference in Chongqing on June 9 under the theme “Intelligent Global Connectivity, Converging for the Future.” Attendees included Cai Zhao, Deputy President of Bank of China; Zhou Hehua, Executive Deputy Director of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee’s Financial Affairs Office; and Zhang Zhengping, Chairman of SERES Automobile. Over 100 executives and experts from across the industrial chain participated, engaging in discussions on industry trends and financial-industrial collaboration. During the event, Bank of China signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SERES on global payroll services, launched Entrepreneur Office services for 12 local Chongqing enterprises, and jointly initiated a promotional campaign to boost NEV consumption. Bank of China stated it will continue deepening its financial services across the entire NEV industry chain, strengthen cooperation among government, banks, and enterprises, and support Chongqing in building a world-class automotive industrial cluster.
