Audi has unveiled the all-new limited-edition supercar, the Nuvolari, with a global production cap of just 499 units. Positioned as the spiritual successor to the R8, the Nuvolari showcases Audi’s next-generation design language. Powering the car is a hybrid system combining three electric motors with a V8 engine, delivering a combined output of 1,001 horsepower. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 350 km/h. For the first time, the entire body is constructed from carbon fiber, resulting in a curb weight of 1,750 kg. The exterior emphasizes minimalist lines and material texture, blending design cues from the R8 and the Concept C concept car. Its overall aesthetic has been described as echoing the mid-20th-century "Brutalist" architectural philosophy. Inside, the minimalist theme continues, with Alcantara upholstery throughout. Door handles and air vents are crafted from solid metal, and the cabin features a uniquely styled instrument cluster. The Nuvolari is expected to carry a price tag of £500,000 (approximately RMB 4.5 million)—roughly double the cost of the Lamborghini Temerario.
