NIO has launched the "Pixel Player Special Edition" of its Firefly all-electric compact car, limited to 333 units and priced at RMB 135,800. This special edition features an exclusive metallic roof and a Dark Night Black base body color accented with pixelated blocks in Electronic Green and Digital Blue, paired with glossy black racing-style alloy wheels to create a visual effect reminiscent of “switching resolution.” Inside, the cabin adopts a “My Campsite”-themed black-and-beige dual-tone design, incorporating Tatami embroidery techniques to showcase two pixel-art motifs: “Campfire Save Point” and “Flash Kid NPC.” The headliner is finished in beige, styled as a “Campsite Dome.” Additional highlights include an 8-bit door-lock chime and six exclusive pixel-art-themed wallpapers for the infotainment system. Under the hood, the vehicle rides on NIO’s G-Force sport-tuned chassis, standard with the Gravity Handling Package—featuring red high-stiffness springs and high-damping shock absorbers. The infotainment system debuts a dedicated G-meter ambient ring that records and displays lateral, longitudinal, vertical, and combined acceleration curves along with driving trajectory data. Measuring 4,003 mm long, 1,781 mm wide, and 1,557 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,615 mm, the Firefly Pixel Player Special Edition uses a single-motor layout. The standard-range variant is equipped with a 42.1 kWh battery pack weighing 314 kg, delivering a CLTC-rated range of 420 km.
