China Cuts Fuel Cell System Cost to ¥1,500/kg, Sales Hit 39,000 Units

By the end of 2025, cumulative sales of fuel cell vehicles in China reached 39,000 units, with over 590 hydrogen refueling stations nationwide. The cost of fuel cell systems has dropped from RMB 3,000 per kilowatt to RMB 1,500 per kilowatt, while system power density has increased from 250 watts per kilogram to 750 watts per kilogram.
