The Beijing Benz C 350 L Electric Long Wheelbase has been registered with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The vehicle measures 4,977 mm or 4,990 mm in length, 1,876 mm in width, and 1,493 mm or 1,510 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,051 mm. It features flush-fitting door handles, a curb weight of 2,405 kg, a top speed of 200 km/h, and seating for five passengers. Tire options include combinations of 235/50R19 front and 255/45R19 rear, or 235/45R20 front and 255/40R20 rear. Powering the vehicle is a dual-motor system producing 163 kW at the front and 300 kW at the rear, jointly manufactured by Bosch and Mercedes-Benz. The battery uses ternary lithium cells supplied by Ningde Jiaocheng Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. and Fuding Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd., with the complete battery pack assembled by Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd. With a wheelbase significantly longer than that of the combustion-engine and plug-in hybrid long-wheelbase C-Class models launched in 2022 (which have a 2,954 mm wheelbase), this EV continues Beijing Benz’s strategy of offering extended-wheelbase variants exclusively tailored for the Chinese market. Its electric drive system specifications match those of the previously registered all-new EQC GLC SUV, suggesting both models likely share the same electric vehicle platform.
