The new Zhijie RX has appeared in the latest batch of vehicle type approval listings published by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The model will be offered in both single-motor rear-wheel-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive variants. The AWD version features two motors supplied by Huawei Digital Power Technologies Co., Ltd.—a 160 kW motor at the front and a 277 kW motor at the rear—enabling a top speed of 251 km/h. The RWD variant is powered by a single 277 kW motor. The vehicle measures 5,020 mm in length, 2,007 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Its curb weight ranges from 2,250 kg to 2,400 kg, and it is rated for five passengers. The approach angle is 14 degrees, while the departure angle is either 18 or 19 degrees. Available tire sizes include 255/50R20, 255/45R21, 275/45R21, 255/40R22, and 275/40R22. A panoramic sunroof is standard across all trims, and numerous optional features are available, including a front windshield camera, roof-mounted LiDAR, fender trim pieces, side cameras, an NFC badge on the driver-side B-pillar with additional side cameras, a tailgate-mounted camera, a heated rear windshield, front and rear brake calipers, and multiple wheel designs. The vehicle uses a ternary lithium-ion battery, with both individual cells and the complete battery pack manufactured by Jiangsu Era New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. The new model will also be equipped with a four-LiDAR sensor array and Huawei’s “Jujing” (Giant Whale) battery technology.
