AITO M6 EV Spotted: Optional Lidar-Free Variant with LFP Battery

The Aito M6 EV has been listed in the 408th batch of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s “Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products,” and will be produced by Seres Automobile Co., Ltd. The vehicle is available in two curb weights—2,445 kg and 2,510 kg—accommodates five passengers, has a top speed of 200 km/h, a gross vehicle weight of 2,885 kg, and measures 4,960 mm long, 1,985 mm wide, and 1,736 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,950 mm. The new model offers an optional version without a roof-mounted LiDAR unit and supports optional equipment including an ETC onboard unit, different wheel rim designs, and electric running boards. It comes standard with an Event Data Recorder (EDR). Tire options include 255/50R20 and 265/45R21 sizes. In terms of powertrain, the vehicle features two drive motor configurations, both supplied by either Chongqing Sokon Power New Energy Co., Ltd. or Huawei Digital Power Technologies Co., Ltd., each delivering a peak power output of 227 kW and a rated power of 73 kW. The energy storage system uses lithium iron phosphate batteries, with cells and battery packs supplied by Yichun Gotion Battery Co., Ltd. The braking system is equipped with Bosch Automotive Products (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.’s IPB 2.0 ABS.
