The energy storage system consists of nickel-cobalt-manganese ternary lithium-ion batteries; the cells are produced by China Automotive New Energy Battery Technology Co., Ltd., and the battery pack is assembled by China FAW Group Corporation. The vehicle offers numerous optional configurations, including red brake calipers, multiple wheel designs, rear quarter windows, side flag emblems, front/rear laser cameras, gradient-tinted front windows, and front/rear styling without LiDAR. A panoramic sunroof is standard across all trims, and the car is equipped with an Event Data Recorder (EDR). An ETC onboard unit is available as an option. Earlier this April, FAW Hongqi unveiled an official teaser for the all-new H9. The exterior design integrates elements of traditional Chinese palace aesthetics and natural landscapes, featuring a "Waterfall from High Mountain" grille, a continuous U-shaped lighting signature, balanced and symmetrical taillights, and laser-etched detailing. The new model will be equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system, HarmonySpace smart cockpit based on HarmonyOS, and Hongqi’s self-developed intelligent chassis. It also features dual-path, image-grade 896-line LiDAR and 40 high-perception sensors, enabling stable detection of obstacles as small as 14 cm in height at distances up to 120 meters while traveling at speeds of up to 120 km/h.
