The Lantu Taishan X9, a battery electric multi-purpose passenger vehicle, has been submitted for inclusion in the 408th batch of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s “Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products.” The rear badge can be optionally labeled “Taishan X9.” This six-seater all-electric SUV measures 5,230 mm in length, 2,025 mm in width, and 1,817 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,120 mm, a curb weight of 2,920 kg, a gross vehicle weight of 3,370 kg, and a top speed of 200 km/h. The vehicle offers various optional configurations, including wheels, door handles, electric running boards, two-tone body paint, and rear badging. It is equipped with dual motors delivering peak outputs of 175 kW and 300 kW, respectively. The braking system features Bosch Automotive Products (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.’s IPB-type anti-lock braking system. The energy storage system consists of ternary lithium-ion batteries, with both cells and battery packs manufactured by Zhongzhou Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. The vehicle supports external charging and is equipped with an Event Data Recorder (EDR). A directly powered ETC device is available as an optional feature.
