Roewe Jia Yue 07 Hybrid SUV Spotted in Filing; Launch Set for June

The Roewe Jia Yue 07 plug-in hybrid SUV has appeared in the latest batch of vehicle registration filings released by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), with an official launch expected in June. The model was previously unveiled as a concept car at the Beijing Auto Show, and the production version retains its design language, featuring full-width daytime running lights, a closed-off front grille, and sleek body lines. Measuring nearly 5 meters in length, it offers two low-drag wheel options—19-inch and 20-inch. A roof-mounted LiDAR is available as an option, along with exterior accessories such as roof rails, fender trim pieces, and a spoiler-integrated camera. The vehicle measures 4,900 mm long, 1,910 mm wide, and 1,745/1,753 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,908 mm, and features a five-seat layout. At the rear, it sports full-width taillights, "ROEWE" lettering, and a "Jia Yue 07" model badge. Designed by SAIC Motor’s global design team, the Jia Yue 07 embodies the brand’s "Uplifting Aesthetics" philosophy, emphasizing a confident stance, fortress-like silhouette, and bold surfacing. Powering the vehicle is a dedicated 1.5L hybrid engine (model code 15FMC) with a displacement of 1,498 cc and maximum output of 72 kW. The drive motor delivers a peak power of 162 kW and a rated power of 60 kW. The SUV supports external charging and is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, enabling a top speed of 180 km/h.
