Xiaomi Auto has unveiled a home charging robotic arm featuring automatic plug-in and plug-out capabilities, enabling a completely hands-free charging experience. With a compact enclosure width of just 152 mm, the device is designed for installation in tight parking spaces and supports remote control via smartphone, seamlessly integrating into Xiaomi’s comprehensive human-car-home ecosystem. Xiaomi Auto currently offers a range of charging products, including a 7 kW home charger, an 11 kW home charger, and the Mi Home Portable Vehicle-Mounted Charge/Discharge Gun. The 7 kW home charger measures 400 mm × 180 mm × 120 mm and comes with a 640 g charging gun, supporting 220 V single-phase input. The 11 kW home charger shares the same dimensions but features a 770 g charging gun and supports 380 V three-phase input. The Mi Home Portable Vehicle-Mounted Charge/Discharge Gun combines both charging and discharging functions, offers two current modes, supports V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) charging, delivers a rated charging power of 2.8 kW, provides 3.5 kW of external discharge power, and operates on standard 220 V household electricity.
