Changan Automobile has recently concluded legal actions regarding two incidents involving the dissemination of false information online. The implicated social media accounts, "Wudang Yunzhongke" and "Xiaoming Tongxue Kan Che," have deleted all infringing content and issued public apologies to Changan Automobile, pledging not to publish any further false or disparaging statements. Specifically, Zou Moumou, the operator of the "Wudang Yunzhongke" account, posted false claims in 2025 across multiple platforms—such as “Changan Automobile merging into Dongfeng Group”—during the period when China Changan Automobile Group was preparing for its establishment. These posts went viral and negatively impacted Changan Automobile’s reputation. The other involved account, "Xiaoming Tongxue Kan Che," operated by Wang Moumou, fabricated and disseminated defamatory remarks across multiple platforms in 2025, maliciously implying quality issues with Changan Automobile’s products and thereby damaging the company’s reputation and business credibility. Changan Automobile stated it will continue to take legal action against rumor-spreading and smear campaigns that infringe upon its rights. The company has launched a WeChat official account named “Changan Automobile False Information Reporting Center” and a Weibo account titled “Changan Automobile Legal Department” to accept public reports concerning relevant illegal activities.
