On June 10, the Zhijie RX was officially unveiled and entered the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) 408th batch of new vehicle announcements. Positioned above the existing Zhijie R7, the RX features a five-seat layout with dimensions of 5,020 mm in length, 2,007 mm in width, and 1,585 mm in height, along with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Built on Huawei’s all-new Tuling platform, the Zhijie RX debuts Huawei’s next-generation high-performance electric drive system—available in both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations—and offers optional air suspension. The vehicle’s chassis system was co-developed by core chassis engineers from BMW M and senior chassis tuning consultants from Aston Martin. For intelligent driving, it is equipped with Huawei’s quad-LiDAR matrix, forming the Qiankun Intelligent Driving full-domain redundancy architecture to support advanced driver-assistance functions across all scenarios and in all weather conditions. The RX also debuts Huawei’s Megalodon Battery Platform 3.0, incorporating Huawei’s proprietary battery safety technologies. As the first model under Zhijie’s 2.0 brand strategy, the Zhijie RX marks a milestone achieved through a joint investment exceeding RMB 10 billion by Huawei and Chery, which established an independent Zhijie New Energy Company to integrate R&D, manufacturing, sales, and after-sales services into a unified operational framework.
