In May 2026, Leapmotor sold 4,765 battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in Italy, a year-over-year surge of 1,278%, capturing a record-high market share of 34.5%. Its share in the private retail channel reached 48%, ranking first. The Leapmotor T03 became Italy’s best-selling BEV that month, ranking third overall among all vehicle models and second in the private retail segment. Meanwhile, the Leapmotor B10 maintained its leading position in the C-segment electric SUV category. Since first claiming the top spot in Italy’s BEV market in March 2026, Leapmotor has consistently held its lead. In Q1 2026, it registered 11,637 units, accounting for 33.5% of the local BEV market. In April, registrations totaled 4,496 units, up 1,300% year-over-year, with a BEV market share steady at 33.5% and a private BEV market share of 51.1%. In parallel, Leapmotor delivered 81,569 vehicles across all models in China in May, an 81% year-over-year increase and a 14.26% month-over-month rise, setting a new monthly delivery record. Cumulative global sales of its C-series have surpassed 800,000 units. In June, the upgraded C10, C11, and C16 will be successively launched, featuring enhancements in design, intelligent features, comfort, and range. Additionally, the flagship MPV D99 will open for pre-orders this month.
