Xiaomi will livestream eight test challenges for the Xiaomi YU7 on June 13 at 9 a.m. at the China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC) automotive test facility in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province. The entire event will be filmed in a single continuous shot. The tests will feature both the standard YU7 and the YU7 GT variants, with the standard version undergoing a cross-axle test. Xiaomi founder, chairman, and CEO Lei Jun has confirmed his participation in the event and may personally take part in the vehicle testing. The test facility, operated by CATARC, previously hosted Xiaomi’s 24-hour endurance challenge. For example, in January 2026, the new SU7 Max completed a grueling test involving continuous driving at 240 km/h, covering a total distance of 4,264 kilometers, with 44 charging sessions—each taking between 8 to 10 minutes.
