On June 11, Aptiv and Chune Auto signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Wuhan. The two parties will deepen collaboration on the development and market expansion of products such as intelligent cockpit domain controllers, jointly advancing technological iteration in new energy vehicles and transformation and upgrading of the automotive industry. Yang Xiaoming, President of Aptiv China and Asia Pacific, stated that Aptiv will leverage its technological and R&D strengths in automotive intelligent systems and engineered components to promote comprehensive cooperation in vehicle intelligence and AI-driven manufacturing, supporting Chune Auto’s high-quality development. Dai Deming, Director of Chune Auto, emphasized that the cockpit domain controller is central to vehicle intelligence. Through this partnership, Chune Auto will harness Aptiv’s mature expertise in central computing platforms and domain controller R&D and manufacturing to enhance its intelligent control capabilities and overall vehicle performance. Aptiv possesses full-stack delivery capabilities—from hardware to software—in core technology areas including central computing platforms, intelligent cockpits, and cross-domain integration. In recent years, Aptiv has continuously increased its investment in China, with a strategic focus on the central China automotive industrial region centered on Wuhan. This collaboration aims to establish a closed-loop advantage in R&D and production through multi-level synergy among cities, industries, and enterprises, strengthening the technological capabilities of the intelligent cockpit—the “brain” of next-generation vehicles.
