On June 11, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) jointly held a meeting to issue reminders to automobile manufacturers suspected of engaging in irrational competitive practices. The authorities required the relevant enterprises to strictly comply with laws and regulations such as the "Price Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Provisions on Preventing Predatory Pricing," implement the requirements outlined in the "Compliance Guidelines for Pricing Practices in the Automotive Industry," strengthen price compliance mechanisms, enhance product quality control, effectively safeguard consumers' legitimate rights and interests, and jointly uphold a healthy market order characterized by fair pricing and sound competition.
