On June 10, Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EV Voyager officially launched in China, offering two variants: the 605km Voyager and the 605km Voyager+. With combined purchase incentives, the limited-time recommended prices range from RMB 99,800 to RMB 119,800. Developed on Geely’s GEA Global Intelligent New Energy Architecture, the vehicle is positioned as a pure-electric SUV tailored for mainstream family users. All variants come standard with the “Shield Golden Brick” battery, delivering a CLTC-rated range of 605 km. Powered by the Thunder 11-in-1 intelligent electric drive system with a peak output of 160 kW, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds and achieves an energy consumption of 12.4 kWh per 100 km. It supports fast charging from 30% to 80% SOC in approximately the time it takes to enjoy a cup of coffee and is integrated into Geely’s nationwide “Thousand Stations, Ten Thousand Chargers” charging network covering major public charging infrastructure. Additionally, the vehicle offers 3.3 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) and 6 kW vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) power supply capabilities. Exterior design follows Geely Galaxy’s signature “Ripple Aesthetics” language, featuring the full-width “Galaxy Ripple” front light bar and “Rising Sun” rear light strip. Six body colors are available—Ink Shadow Black, Flowing Moon Silver, First Snow White, Misty Wave Grey, Willow Green, and Starry Sea Blue—each inspired by the Ten Scenes of West Lake in Hangzhou. The interior offers three color schemes: Starship Grey, Reflective Snow White, and Autumn Charm Brown, with an enveloping cockpit layout, 256-color ambient lighting, “Three Pools Mirroring the Moon” floating speakers, and ergonomically designed “Chinese Chair” structure seats. Measuring 4,750 mm long, 1,905 mm wide, and 1,680 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,755 mm, the vehicle boasts an industry-leading cabin space utilization rate of 84.3%. The rear floor is completely flat, and the trunk offers 528 liters of cargo space, expandable to 2,065 liters when the rear seats are folded. Additional storage includes a 51-liter underfloor compartment and drawer-style storage beneath the second-row seats, totaling 35 storage spaces throughout the cabin. The seats feature a 10-layer “Marshmallow SPA Seat” structure with 14-point massage and eight therapeutic modes, complemented by double-glazed acoustic glass, privacy glass, zero-VOC eco-friendly materials, and a CN95-grade air filtration system. Safety-wise, the Shield Golden Brick battery has passed 36 extreme tests—including remaining non-flammable after simultaneous puncture by eight nails, leak-proof after 24 hours submerged in water, non-explosive after a 2-meter drop, and fire-resistant at temperatures up to 1,000°C. It is managed by the BMS 3.0 battery management system and features a high-voltage cutoff response time of just 39 ms. The body structure meets five-star safety standards, with over 80% high-strength steel and hot-stamped steel, reaching a maximum strength of 1,500 MPa. Advanced technologies include Cell-to-Body (CTB) integration, an “Eight Crossbeams, Two Longitudinals” frame architecture, and a cloverleaf energy-dissipating structure, achieving a torsional rigidity of 31,000 N·m/deg. The intelligent cockpit runs Flyme Auto, featuring a 14.6-inch center touchscreen and a 13.8-inch HUD. It supports multi-ecosystem connectivity via Flyme Link, Carlink, and HiCar, compatible with all Android smartphones, and offers access to over 300 cloud-based apps, 50W air-cooled wireless fast charging, and rapid OTA updates. The audio system is the 16-speaker Flyme Sound “Boundless Audio,” acoustically tuned with reference to the National Centre for the Performing Arts, and includes headrest speakers—a segment-exclusive feature. Since its global launch 17 months ago, the Geely Galaxy Starship 7 series has been sold in 57 countries and regions worldwide, with cumulative deliveries exceeding 220,000 units. With the introduction of the EV Voyager, it now forms a dual-power product matrix alongside the Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i, offering both pure electric and plug-in hybrid options.
