XPeng MONA Wagon Spied—Confirmed Real Project, But Won’t Launch This Year

Spy photos of the XPeng MONA station wagon have been leaked for the first time. According to an insider, this project is indeed a real model under development, though it will not be launched this year. The XPeng MONA M03 debuted on August 27, 2024, offering three variants priced between RMB 119,800 and RMB 155,800. Positioned as an AI-powered all-electric sedan targeting young consumers in the RMB 150,000 segment, the M03 had accumulated over 250,000 deliveries by April 2025 and has ranked as the best-selling all-electric sedan in the RMB 100,000–200,000 price range for 18 consecutive months. In the same month, the 2026 model-year MONA M03 was introduced, becoming the first vehicle under USD 20,000 to feature a computing platform with 750 TOPS of AI processing power. Beyond sedans, XPeng has also unveiled the first SUV in the MONA series—the XPeng L03—which adopts the same family design language as the M03 and features a fastback SUV silhouette. The L03 is scheduled for launch in 2026. Additionally, the third model in the MONA lineup, the L05, has already completed its product registration.
