In May, Chery Group sold 100,304 new energy vehicles (NEVs), a year-on-year increase of 58.8%, marking the second consecutive month exceeding 100,000 units in monthly sales. According to data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), Chery ranked among the top three automakers nationwide in NEV wholesale deliveries for both April and May. From January to May this year, Chery Group delivered a total of 361,761 NEVs, up 25.7% year-over-year. Chery has now established a comprehensive product portfolio covering price ranges from RMB 50,000 to RMB 500,000 across all usage scenarios. Models such as the all-new QQ3 and the Zhijie V9 have stood out in their respective segments. Technologically, Chery has prioritized lightweighting as a core strategic focus and unveiled the world’s first “100% recycled aluminum, heat-treatment-free, integrated die-casting” technology. In the field of intelligent driving, Chery has completed iterative upgrades, with its Exeed ES and ET5 models securing first and second places, respectively, at the 2nd China Intelligent Driving Championship. Additionally, Chery has built a full-chain low-carbon closed-loop system and disclosed comprehensive carbon emission data across the entire lifecycle for its export model, the JAECOO 7 SHS, achieving mutual recognition of carbon data between China and Europe.
