On June 12, 2026, Geely Galaxy announced a global naming contest for its new C-segment all-electric sedan, running through June 16. The vehicle, previously revealed under the internal codename "Galaxy TT" in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) new vehicle announcement, is positioned as the first C-segment electric fastback with a rear spoiler in Geely Galaxy’s mid-to-high-end product lineup. Potential names under consideration include Galaxy TT, Galaxy A8, or Galaxy A8TT. According to the MIIT filing, the car measures 4,999 mm in length, 1,919 mm in width, and 1,479 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,920 mm. It will be offered in both rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) variants. The AWD version delivers a combined output of 425 kW (approximately 578 hp), while the RWD variant produces a maximum output of 245 kW (approximately 333 hp). The vehicle is expected to be equipped with CATL batteries and built on an 800V high-voltage platform to enhance charging efficiency and overall energy performance. The filing images reveal a roof-mounted LiDAR unit, suggesting the car may feature Geely’s latest “Qianli Haohan” H7 advanced driver-assistance system. It also features an active electric rear spoiler, enhancing both sporty aesthetics and high-speed stability. The vehicle bears the new “Galaxy Gold Logo,” which may become an exclusive emblem for Geely Galaxy’s premium flagship models. Geely Galaxy currently offers vehicles across multiple segments, including compact cars, sedans, SUVs, and MPVs. The launch of the Galaxy TT will fill a gap in its portfolio in the high-performance electric fastback segment, further strengthening its product lineup. Official details regarding the final name, interior design, and market launch timing have not yet been disclosed.
