2027 GAC Toyota Sienna Launches from ¥242,800: Standard 15.6-inch Screen, Huawei Cockpit, New AWD and Premium Trims

GAC Toyota announced on June 12 the official launch of the 2027 Sienna, positioning it as a "blue-plate new energy" vehicle. The new model starts at RMB 242,800, with the entry-level variant offering an all-wheel-drive (AWD) option for the first time. The exterior design carries over from the current model, with dimensions of 5,165 mm (length) × 1,995 mm (width) × 1,765 mm (height) and a wheelbase of 3,060 mm. All trims come standard with a 15.6-inch center infotainment screen powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155P automotive chip, supporting AI-powered large-language-model voice assistant functionality. The top-tier trim adds a 15.6-inch rear-seat entertainment screen, while other configurations can be upgraded via optional packages. The infotainment system runs Huawei’s HMS for Car intelligent vehicle solution and is compatible with Xiaomi’s in-car hardware interface, allowing integration of Xiaomi’s rear-seat tablet mount and Pad combo kit. A new "Glory Edition" variant debuts, featuring matte gold paint, black badging, gold-logo floor mats, and wing-shaped welcome lighting. Under the hood, the Sienna retains its 2.5L naturally aspirated engine paired with a hybrid-electric powertrain, delivering a combined output of 181 kW and mated to an E-CVT transmission.
