Hubei Youweixin Technology Co., Ltd. has secured定点 (nomination) from multiple leading new energy vehicle OEMs for its automotive oxygen concentrator. As a Tier 1 supplier, the company completed a two-year development cycle starting from the pre-research phase and achieved mass production in 2026. Its automotive-grade oxygen concentrator production line commenced operations at its headquarters in Gedian in August 2026, with an annual capacity of 100,000 units. Hubei Youweixin is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wuhan Youweixin Technology Co., Ltd. Leveraging its parent company’s vertically integrated III-V semiconductor capabilities established since 2015, it covers epitaxial growth, chip fabrication, device packaging and testing, module assembly, and full-system delivery. Currently, Hubei Youweixin operates three manufacturing bases in Ezhou, Suzhou, and Gedian (Wuhan). The newly built Gedian facility spans 110 mu (approx. 18 acres) with a total building area of 40,000 square meters. It is planned to house automated production lines for automotive-grade modules and a CNAS-accredited laboratory, focusing on health-focused cabin products such as automotive oxygen concentrators, sterilization and deodorization modules, odor and bio-sensing sensors, and in-vehicle water purification systems. The automotive oxygen concentrator production line features a fully automated assembly line capable of molecular sieve auto-loading, air-path sealing inspection, circuit FCT aging, and oxygen concentration calibration. With flexible manufacturing capabilities, it can meet supply demands ranging from 100,000 to 500,000 units per vehicle model annually. The critical oil-free scroll compressor component has been co-developed with strategic partners and entered volume vehicle deployment in the same year. The company has fully implemented an ERP+MES digital management system, enabling end-to-end closed-loop control—from order entry and BOM breakdown to intelligent production scheduling and logistics tracking—and supports integration with OEMs’ SAP and PLM systems. Every product is assigned a unique SN code for full lifecycle traceability. On the quality front, the company is certified under IATF 16949:2019, with the five core tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP) applied throughout the entire process from R&D to mass production. Products comply with both automotive and medical standards: they pass durability tests from -40°C to +85°C, deliver a stable oxygen flow rate of 10 L/min, and maintain oxygen concentration at 93% ± 3%. They have also passed automotive environmental validations including vibration and EMC testing. Core components follow an A/B dual-supplier strategy, with 100% incoming inspection and batch samples retained for no less than five years. Additionally, the products adhere to China’s national standards for medical oxygen concentrators and have completed five mandatory third-party registration tests covering electromagnetic compatibility and electrical safety. In terms of project experience, the company began supplying sterilization modules to home appliance manufacturers in 2020 and entered the new energy vehicle sector in 2021 with air purification and disinfection modules. In 2025, its automotive oxygen concentrator completed comprehensive validation—including high-altitude and extreme temperature tests—demonstrating that under conditions of 4,500-meter altitude and four occupants, it can raise cabin oxygen concentration to 23% within 30 minutes. The platform is compatible with both hybrid and battery-electric vehicles and can integrate with sterilization/deodorization, water purification, and sensing systems to form a closed-loop healthy cabin ecosystem. The delivery system is phased according to OEM development timelines to ensure on-time fulfillment. Current mass production yield for in-vehicle purification modules is ≥99.5%, with a target yield of ≥98.5% for automotive oxygen concentrators. For after-sales service, the company offers 7×24-hour technical support, on-site engineer response within 48 hours, and maintains spare parts inventory sufficient for six months of usage. Looking ahead, the company will continue investing in R&D and capacity expansion, deepen collaboration with OEMs, and drive the evolution of new energy vehicle healthy cabins toward high reliability and medical-grade standards.
