GAC Hyper S600 Launches with Four EV and Range-Extended Models, Priced from RMB 179,900 to 199,900

The GAC Hyper S600 officially launched on June 12, offering four variants across two powertrain options—pure electric and range-extended—with launch privilege pricing ranging from RMB 179,900 to RMB 199,900. Positioned as a new luxury intelligent sporty SUV, it measures 5,015 mm in length, 1,933 mm in width, and 1,700 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,936 mm. Exterior highlights include the "Shanhai Realm" ISD intelligent interactive taillights and seven exterior color choices: Jubilee Red, Night Shadow Black, Ice Rock Gray, Agate Purple, Polar White, Liquid Titanium Silver, and Deep Sea Green. Interior trims are available in three themes: Danxia Dawn, Ebony Flow, and Dune Gleam. In terms of intelligent features, all models come standard with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip, a 17.3-inch 3K central touchscreen, and a 27-inch W-HUD head-up display. The vehicle is powered by the ADiGO Intelligence cloud-edge integrated architecture with 11 AI agents, equipped with LiDAR and the ADiGO GSD 3.0 system, incorporating Momenta’s R6 reinforcement learning large model. Regarding interior space, the S600 boasts an industry-leading cabin space utilization rate of 90%, with up to 750 mm of second-row legroom and a total glass area of 5.316 square meters. The trunk offers a maximum expandable capacity of 1,292 liters. Seat features include a segment-exclusive 18-point massage zero-gravity front passenger seat and rear seats with a 143° recline angle. The audio system comprises a 22-speaker high-fidelity setup, and the entire cabin is fitted with five pieces of dual-layer laminated acoustic glass for superior noise insulation. For powertrains, the range-extended version utilizes GAC’s proprietary Xingyuan range-extending technology and features the industry’s only 12-in-1 high-performance silicon carbide electric drive system. It delivers a combined output of 370 kW, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 4.3 seconds under optimal conditions and 5.6 seconds in low-battery scenarios, with a continuous power generation capability of 85 kW. The pure electric variant is built on GAC’s AEP 3.0 platform, supports 800V high-voltage fast charging, and uses a single rear-mounted motor producing 250 kW, achieving a 0–100 km/h time of 6.5 seconds and a CLTC-rated range of 660 km. Chassis-wise, the S600 is equipped with a front double-wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension, the segment-exclusive four-wheel-drive dual-chamber air suspension, and an intelligent Magic Carpet suspension system. It also offers three terrain assistance modes: Snow, Slippery, and Off-Road Recovery.
