Leapmotor's Upgraded C-Series Models to See Higher Pricing Amid Cost Increases

From:Internet Info Agency 2026-06-13 07:51:07

Leapmotor will launch its all-new C10, C11, and C16 models on June 16. Blind pre-orders are now open, with a RMB 1,000 deposit granting buyers 10,000 loyalty points. According to internal training materials, the next-generation C-series models are expected to see price increases—particularly the C10—due to larger battery capacities for both BEV and EREV variants and projected cell cost hikes of over 50% in 2026 compared to 2025. Additionally, all three models now feature a standard 60-inch AR-HUD, further contributing to higher costs for higher-trim variants. All three models are equipped with Qualcomm’s SA8650 chip and 28 intelligent perception sensors, supporting 34 advanced driver-assistance features including point-to-point parking navigation. They also come with the Qualcomm SA8295P chip, a 17.3-inch center touchscreen, front-row zero-gravity seats with 124° recline (featuring ventilation, heating, and massage), and an AI-powered BMS (Battery Management System) that claims to prevent fire or explosion for up to 48 hours after thermal runaway. The C10 BEV offers a range of 660 km, while its EREV variant delivers 290 km of electric range and supports 3C fast charging. The C11 BEV achieves 640 km of range; its EREV version reaches 300 km and features frameless doors, a double-wishbone front suspension with five-link rear setup, and high-performance four-piston calipers. The C16 is available in both six-seat and five-seat configurations: the six-seater includes independent second-row seats, while the five-seater enables one-touch electric conversion of the second row into a bed. The C16 BEV has a 630 km range, and its EREV version offers 280 km of electric range with 3C fast charging support. All three models are built on an 800V high-voltage architecture and come standard with FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) adaptive suspension and LMC (Leak-Monitoring Control) blowout-stability systems.
