The Avatr concept car VISION XPECTRA made its official debut at the Chongqing International Auto Show. The vehicle had previously premiered overseas at the 2023 Munich Motor Show. Inspired by the Chinese cultural concept of "Qi" (vital energy), it centers on the core idea of "energy," aiming to deliver an intelligent mobility experience characterized by emotional connection and companionship. Led by Nader Faghihzadeh, Executive Vice President and Chief Designer of Avatr Technology, the design features an "ultra-transparent" panoramic prism cabin structure with a clear, visible interior layout resembling a glass greenhouse. Behind the central touchscreen sits an interactive hub named the "Emotional Vortex," capable of sensing and anticipating user needs, enabling emotional engagement through dynamic light effects, rhythmic motion, and intuitive feedback. The interior extensively employs inflatable materials and 3D-knitted textiles, using morphological transformations to create a harmonious, lifelike, multi-sensory environment. The VISION XPECTRA embodies Avatr’s next-generation design language, with key design elements—such as the highly recognizable front lighting signature, sculptural side body lines, and the "Emotional Vortex"—set to carry over into the brand’s second-generation production vehicles. The concept features suicide doors, individual seating, and a standing emblem at the front hood. Backed by Changan Automobile’s manufacturing ecosystem, Avatr possesses an engineering team capable of faithfully translating concept designs into production reality, ensuring a seamless transition from visionary design to mass-produced vehicles.
