Ford Mondeo Sport Launches with 2.0T Plug-in Hybrid, Upgraded Smart Cabin – Starting at ¥209,800

The 2026 Ford Mondeo Sport made its official debut at the Chongqing Auto Show, with two variants launched at prices ranging from RMB 209,800 to RMB 229,800. Buyers can enjoy purchase incentives up to RMB 32,888, national subsidies of up to RMB 13,000, and limited-time "618" financing offers. The new model features significant upgrades to its intelligent cockpit, equipped with a 27-inch 4K panoramic center display and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. All trims come standard with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and are upgraded to the SYNC+ Max intelligent connectivity system. The system integrates the fourth-generation voice assistant VA 4.0, which supports large language model-powered, full-scenario voice interaction, and is compatible with both AutoNavi (Gaode Maps) and Apple CarPlay. In terms of practical features, the center console storage capacity has been increased by 4.5 liters, a new 50W wireless fast charger is added, and all variants now include standard 540-degree surround-view monitoring with transparent underbody functionality. Exterior design retains the fastback silhouette and floating roof styling. The front headlights incorporate three staggered prismatic light strips, while the rear features a segmented spoiler to enhance its sporty character. The vehicle measures 4,920 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,945 mm—identical to the current model. Powering the vehicle is a 2.0T EcoBoost engine in an E-Hybrid configuration, delivering a maximum engine output of 288 horsepower and an electric motor peak output of 190 horsepower, for a combined system output of 308 horsepower. It is paired with an e-CVT transmission, achieving an official suburban fuel consumption rating of 4.64 L/100 km.
