The 2026 Changan Hunter K50 extended-range pickup officially launched on June 14, offering two battery variants: the standard-range model equipped with a 31.18 kWh battery starts at RMB 141,900, while the long-range version featuring a 43.47 kWh battery starts at RMB 144,900. The vehicle is powered by CATL’s proprietary 2C high-rate battery developed specifically for hybrid pickups, delivering an NEDC all-electric range of 192 km and a combined range exceeding 1,000 km. It supports 2C fast charging, enabling the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in just 16 minutes. The Hunter K50 debuts the industry’s first 30 kW ultra-high-power external discharge capability, capable of fully charging two DJI T100s drone batteries simultaneously in just nine minutes. It also supports dual-channel simultaneous discharge at 30 kW and 3.3 kW, catering to both industrial and household power needs, and features 22 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality that allows charging while discharging. With a full tank of fuel and a fully charged battery, the total available energy reserve reaches 239 kWh. In terms of performance, the new model adopts a dual-motor layout, boosting total output power by 20% to 240 kW and peak torque by 12% to 529 N·m, enhancing its full-load hill-climbing capability by 50%.
