On June 13, 2026, the 28th Chongqing International Automobile Exhibition opened in Chongqing. Changan Automobile showcased its brands—including Avatr, Deepal, and Changan Qiyuan—in Hall N8 and unveiled its self-developed advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS), "Tianshu Navigation." This system introduces a three-tier safety framework centered on physiological, psychological, and emotional well-being, delivering an assisted driving experience that evolves from basic protection to intelligent companionship. "Tianshu Navigation" is available in three versions: Pro, Max, and Ultra. The Pro version comes standard with LiDAR across all trims, enabling it to detect obstacles two seconds faster than the human eye in low-light conditions and improving response speed by 150 milliseconds through the SDA Central Ring Network architecture. The Max version leverages over 20 million high-quality human-driving data samples to enable predictive capabilities and smooth navigation in complex commuting scenarios. The Ultra version integrates a Vision-Language Model (VLM) foundation model to enhance environmental perception and support interactive assisted driving. A future update will introduce an active driver-incapacitation safeguard feature. Changan Automobile emphasized that assisted driving is not equivalent to autonomous driving, and drivers remain responsible for real-time monitoring and immediate takeover when necessary. The Changan Qiyuan Q06, equipped with the full "Tianshu Navigation" system across all variants, will launch in the second half of 2026. This technological achievement stems from Changan Automobile’s 17 years of accumulated R&D in vehicle intelligence. Since establishing its intelligent technology team in 2009, Changan has built the Tianshu Intelligent Laboratory—a national key lab dedicated to intelligent vehicle safety—enabling global collaboration and 24/7 testing with over 400,000 virtual simulation scenarios. Over the past five years, more than 2,000 engineers have completed over 5 million kilometers of real-world road testing in Chongqing, covering 185 distinct driving scenarios. As a cornerstone of its "1445" global strategy for intelligent transformation, Changan Automobile aims to rank among the world’s top ten automakers by 2030, continuously advancing the adoption of smart mobility technologies and deepening collaboration with global partners to deliver Chinese intelligent vehicle solutions worldwide.
