Multiple New Models Upgrade Audio: Volvo Adds Dolby Atmos, Li L8 Features 8797 Chip

Volvo’s EX90 and ES90 now feature four additional overhead channels, support Dolby Atmos, and introduce both Abbey Road Studio Mode and a 3D Six-Axis Producer Mode. Users can adjust audio characteristics across three dimensions—vintage/modern, control room/recording venue, and intimate/spacious—via a 3D coordinate axis. The Li Auto L8 Ultra and Livis trims have upgraded their audio hardware with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797 chip, boosting the central display resolution to 6K. The number of speakers has increased beyond the 19-speaker standard found in earlier 2025 models, with detailed acoustic performance to be showcased in upcoming real-world demonstrations. The smart #6 is equipped with a Sennheiser sound system featuring retractable disc-shaped midrange drivers. Its tuning is neutral and precise, emphasizing detail retrieval, and excels particularly in classical music, vocals, jazz, and small-ensemble instrumental performances. Soundstage reconstruction avoids excessive reverb, delivering stable imaging and enhanced height perception through overhead channels. The LeDao L60 has officially launched with a newly added LiDAR sensor. Given that both the L90 and L80 are equipped with 23 speakers, the L60 is also expected to receive a modest audio system upgrade. The GAC Trumpchi M8 Master offers multiple audio configurations: base models come with eight speakers, while mid- and high-end trims offer optional 12-, 16-, or 20-speaker Yamaha setups. The AWD Max and Ultra variants include headrest speakers and overhead channels as standard. The GAC Trumpchi E8 Master features either 9, 12, or 22 speakers depending on trim level, with the 2026 Ultra variant offering the most comprehensive audio configuration. As Audi’s second electric vehicle and its first all-electric SUV, the E7X features UltraNearfield ultra-nearfield seat-mounted speakers combined with SeatCentric technology to achieve physical-level sound wave cancellation. The Hyper S600 comes standard across all trims with a 22-speaker ADiGO SOUND proprietary audio system. Its infotainment system runs ADiGO 6.0 powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip, supporting four-zone voice recognition and multiple smartphone connectivity options.
