Lexus has unveiled the all-new, fully redesigned ES sedan. Externally, the vehicle features a complex design language with pronounced character lines on the hood and intricately styled headlights. The front fascia retains an air intake, underscoring Lexus’s continued commitment to hybrid-electric powertrains. The car’s dimensions have been slightly increased, and its side profile uses decorative character lines to enhance visual depth. It is equipped with semi-recessed door handles, soft-close doors on all four sides, and dual-layer acoustic glass for the front windows. At the rear, the design adopts a crossover-inspired aesthetic, highlighted by a full-width light bar. The trunk offers 487 liters of cargo space and comes with a power-operated tailgate. Inside, the cabin embraces a new-energy-oriented design ethos, featuring two 14-inch displays—one of which, positioned on the passenger side, includes a privacy screen function. Upholding Lexus’s signature Eastern luxury philosophy, the interior combines bamboo wood trim with touch-sensitive capacitive controls. Storage space is adequate, while rear-seat comfort remains excellent. Under the hood, the initial ES300h variant launched pairs a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine with Lexus’s fifth-generation THS hybrid system.
