On June 15, Li Auto unveiled its next-generation flagship cockpit system at the Livis Day Software and Embodied Intelligence Launch Event. Centered around a design philosophy of “restraint and clarity,” the system features a self-developed underlying operating system. In terms of smart connectivity, the new cockpit offers full compatibility with Apple CarPlay and mainstream Android smartphones (based on the ICCOA Carlink standard). CarPlay is deeply integrated, enabling navigation information to be projected onto the HUD (head-up display) and allowing direct control of frequently used functions—such as music playback—via steering wheel buttons, catering to cross-ecosystem usage needs for users of multiple smartphone brands. For acoustics, the vehicle is equipped with a 9.3.6 Flawless Star Ring Theater audio system delivering a peak power output of 5,440W. It comprises nine horizontal surround channels, three matrix subwoofers, and six overhead channels. The front and rear cabins feature dual independent sound zones configured as 5.2.2 and 7.1.4 respectively, capable of simultaneously playing different immersive audio sources. Utilizing 96kHz high-sampling-rate audio processing technology, the system ensures balanced sound field coverage across all three rows of seats. On the hardware front, the cockpit debuts globally with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8797 Elite chip, integrating a 504K CPU task-processing unit, an 8.1 TOPS GPU rendering engine, and an NPU offering 320 TOPS of AI computing power—enabling on-device AI model execution. According to the company, its performance surpasses that of current mainstream flagship smartphones. The display system features an industry-first ultra-wide panoramic screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, a touch sampling rate of 180Hz, and a display bandwidth of 23.5Gbps. Leveraging adaptive interface adjustment technology, the driver’s display area is 1.5 times wider than in the previous dual-screen setup. It also supports real-time tracking of the user’s gaze focus to dynamically optimize interface layout and information presentation.
