Geely Galaxy recently unveiled the core technical specifications and product positioning of its new mid-to-large SUV, the Galaxy Warship 700, which is defined as an “AI-powered all-terrain hardcore SUV” and is scheduled to launch within this year. The Galaxy Warship 700 is equipped with a tri-motor all-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid system featuring differential locks. The system delivers a combined output of 830 kW (approximately 1,128.8 horsepower), achieving a power-to-weight ratio of 392 hp per ton. According to Geely, this represents the highest power-to-weight ratio among all globally produced off-road vehicles, the highest combined system output among all globally produced plug-in hybrid off-roaders, and the only production plug-in hybrid vehicle worldwide to combine tri-motor AWD with differential locks. In terms of design, the vehicle features a boxy silhouette with bold, rugged lines. The front fascia includes a long rectangular grille, full-width daytime running lights, and an illuminated brand logo. The headlights incorporate arched-shaped DRLs. The sides retain conventional door handles and feature a matte black roof-mounted luggage rack, with pronounced wheel arches. At the rear, vertically oriented rounded rectangular taillights and an externally mounted spare tire complete the look. Regarding chassis and off-road capabilities, the Warship 700 is fitted with Geely’s self-developed GVMC Dynamic Control System, which the company claims enables it to pass the moose test at speeds up to 80 km/h. Its AI intelligent AWD system automatically switches between front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive modes, and also offers crab-walk mode, tank turn (on-the-spot U-turn), flat-tire driving capability, and continuous automatic obstacle avoidance. The vehicle boasts a wading depth of 800 mm and is equipped with satellite communication functionality. Official pricing and detailed configuration information for the Galaxy Warship 700 have not yet been disclosed.
